Despite what the title leads you to believe, this is a Jig and is often used to accompany a Celidh (cay-lee) dance of the same name as well as a dance called Strip The Willow..
Both are great fun because a large group of people can participate, and because you don't have to have a background in country dance to do them... they're easy enough you wont need a GPS or compass to find your direction and you won't need a podiatrist (to fix a bruiesed and stepped on toe) either. ;)
I will post instructions on how to do and or call this dance in the future... I also plan on tweaking the chord progression...
The tempo on the midi file is intentionally slower, you'll want to notch it up a few clicks to about 120bpm. *(each eighth note = 1 beat).
