Reel of Tullochgorum...

It's a dance...

No they're not dancing Reel of Tullochgorham, that's Strip the Willow
(aka.Trip the Widow when danced by beginners...)
I just felt like putting some kind of dancing picture here to make this page look a little more colourful. :)

At present (21 January 2005 when this page was created) I really know nothing about this tune save for the fact I was asked by the dance group to see if I had/could find the music for Reel of Tullochgorum. At that time I was told it was to accomapany a dance of the same name. However, I don't know if it's a Ceilidh dance or perhaps a dance from an RSCDA book.

So for all stumbling into this wee nook in cyberspace, if ya happen to know a wee bit more about this music/dance than I do know (and there's a very good possibility of that as I know very little about this tune) please e-mail... :)

So at present all I'm really sure of is that it's in common time and is 32 bars long...
